Una mezcla de emoción.
Today I had a really big wave of missing Costa Rica and everyone that I love there. It made me really sad, I wish that Carlitos was on skype so I could talk to him. I feel so blessed for the friends and family I have at home, but I miss these things:

My name is Erin Speakman, and I'm a novelist (aspiring). One of my novel sections involves a woman who is a Christian missionary over one summer in Costa Rica. My wife and I traveled to Costa Rica in 2004, and I've done missionary work in Tijuana, Mexico, but I need some good material that intersects the two.
